On a rainy day we happily joined our host at his climbing club - a collective where members and their guests climb for free, and have equipment and expertise galore. Dani and I hadn't climbed for a few months, but quickly remembered the ropes.
I was able to improve and attempted an overhang for the first time - unable to complete but feeling really good for nearly getting there.
We also shared a love of good food and cooking with our hosts, who showed us how to make Flødeboller - biscuit-based, meringue-topped, chocholate-covered wonders (recipe).
